Personal Style for Women

The Women's Personal Style Day builds on what you learn at your Colour Analysis class, and is the second stage in your journey of discovery.

Do you find it hard to know which styles suit you? When a new trend arrives do you hesitate unsure whether it's 'you' or not? Worried about looking like 'mutton dressed as lamb'? Would you like shopping to be simpler and more successful? Ever feel you have a wardrobe full of clothes and yet have nothing to wear? Ever bought something in the sale that turned out not to be such a bargain? Do you find your body shape difficult to dress? Do you lack confidence in using accessories?

If the answer to any of these questions is 'yes' then a Personal Style day is for you. Working in a small group, your expertly trained House of Colour Personal Stylist will take you through a whole day dedicated to discovering how to build a wardrobe that really works for you and your lifestyle.

In a relaxed atmosphere your Personal Stylist will help you:

  • Discover the clothing shapes that best suit your body's natural lines – so you know exactly which clothes make you look great
  • Learn the language of clothes and the rules of dress so that you have complete control over the impression you create through your personal style
  • Create your capsule wardrobe – you'll learn about wardrobe planning and management for your budget and lifestyle
  • Make great decisions when buying clothes – you'll learn how to spend wisely and how to avoid costly mistakes
  • Choose and use the right accessories - you'll learn the secrets to buying and using accessories

With the right knowledge it's easy to choose clothes that will compliment your lifestyle and personality, which means that you always project the image, mood and style you choose to create the impact to suit the occasion.

When you understand how to dress who you are (your personality) as well as what you are (your body architecture) it all comes together. Because you look great and feel comfortable in your own skin you come across as credible, look attractive and understand what your clothes are saying about you. You only get a few seconds to make a first impression – whether socially or professionally – so make it the right one!
