I became an Image Consultant with House of Colour as I had a track record of wearing clothes that could be called 'out of line' with the event I was attending.I wanted to be the person that helped clients in the way I had been helped.

This is my story....

Since a young age I'd gained a reputation with my friends and family that I could be trusted to completely over dress for every occasion. The white cocktail dress with a giant bow to a barbecue to celebrate a friends 21st birthday in the 70’s and the darts match at a ‘working mans club’ wearing a petrol blue velvet suit were just two of many examples.

I have always been attracted to a formal, very dressy look. Thanks to House of Colour I now understand why. My clothing personality is ‘Romantic’. So when it was explained to me why I am attracted to some outfits and not others I then learned how to control it and me.

I had my colours done in 1989 and discovered I was an Autumn. Having left it for far too many years, 10 in fact, I went back for my image day and suddenly the light bulb switched on and I started to understand why I have this attraction to more dressy style of clothes. It was at this stage I longed to be consultant and to start teaching others what I had learned.

If, like me, you often find you’re out of step with the clothes you have chosen to wear, whatever the occasion, you really will benefit from my help. If you find yourself dressing down, sometimes too casual or maybe you also have a tendency to over dress I know I can help you.

Something else you may have noticed is that, like most people, you tend to stick to wearing the same old faithful outfits despite having a wardrobe bursting at the seams. This is another area where I can help you to decipher why you feel safe in some clothes but buy others and never wear them. Discovering your clothing personality is a big eye opener as well as a money saver.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable class lasting 2/3rds of a day. Together we determine your season, you leave with your make-up applied and a leather wallet containing swatches of fabric in the colours of your season.

Women's Image Day £125

The Image day, for me, was a series of answers that explained why my choice of clothes was often so very very wrong.
You will leave the class fully aware of the styles you should be choosing, the fabrics, patterns and accessories which will compliment your look and how to create an impact both personally and professionally.

If you had your colours a few years ago it may be well worth the time to have the ratings re-checked and revisit your make-up look. It is quite usual for your 2** colours to change over a period years, I moved from a Soft Autumn to a Vibrant Autumn since I attended my own colour class with David in Liverpool in 1989.

It is so important that men create a powerful, capable and authoritive presence in the work place. There are so many messages we send out by accident that can cause others to believe they know about us and then they jump to incorrect conclusions. The Men's day will provide you with all the information you need to dress professionally for business and to make your casual wardrobe more interesting and fully in line with your size and shape.
